Amazing birthday dinner. Food was delicious and the salty caramel and chocolate Martinis out of this world. Thank you!!!
Great food, great service. They had an Italian menu today. I had the lasagna, huge portion and very good. It came with a house or Caesar salad. Tyler was our server and he did an amazing job. We never asked for refills, he was spot on his job
I haven't been here since a disappointing dinner with friends after golf about a year ago. I'm so glad my friend suggested that we have lunch here last week. The menu is newly refreshed with a lot of options, the prices are more than reasonable, the service was outstanding, and the food was not just plenty but excellent. My friend had the fish tacos and was very pleased. I had the haddock sandwich and it was far more than I'd expected, not just in quantity but also in quality. It was fried perfectly without having any of that greasy aftertaste, and served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a side of tartar sauce. I opted for the side of home cooked potato chips and there were more than I could handle which is saying a lot because I love my chips! I was surprised that they offered ginger ale as a soft drink option, many places do not. A word about our server, and how I wish I could remember her name. She was most attentive and since my friend and I were catching up a little before looking over the menu, she suggested that rather than continually bothering us (she was no bother at all, so friendly), that we signal our readiness to order by moving the salt to the edge of the table. How clever! And she was paying attention! We chose to eat outside, it was a lovely day with a nice fall breeze. Sometimes that will cause servers to forget about you, but as I already mentioned, our service was outstanding. Another word about management: we were visited more than once to inquire about our satisfaction with our meals. I will definitely be back to Havana CC Restaurant in the near future!
The food was incredibly good! The atmosphere was very nice but a little loud. Our waitress topped things off and was extremely attentive, on top of things, patient (especially with food allergies that my mom has) personable, and made our evening extra special. Her name is. Stacy, and we will request her next time we come back, which will be soon.
Had reservations for 5:30 but was not sitted until almost 6:30. Waiter Jacob was excellent. Food was good however portions were extremely small for the price. I would give them another try.
Had a nice lunch at the Havana Country Club Grille. As we made our way to the table, we passed through the interior seating and bar area. It was nice, clean space but felt very dated. It was a nice day out so we chose to sit on the patio/terrace. It is probably a nice view, however, they are currently redesigning the golf course so all you see are mounds of dirt/sand as one of the in-progress greens backs up to the restaurant patio. Also, the one side of the patio overlooks the Club Pool. Similarly as Fenny Grille does. Our server, Cameron, was very friendly, attentive and good everything correct, kept our drinks full and was a nice guy. The food was good for the most part. One meal was the Steak Wedge Salad. The salad was a very large salad, not a ton of steak but it was cooked well. The steak had a seasoning on it that was ok. Another meal was the Pick 2 - great lunch value - the Cuban and French Onion Soup. The Cuban was good but nothing to write home about. The French Onion Soup was a little watery compared to others. 1st Kid ordered Penne Noodles with Butter Sauce with came with spagetti noodles instead. They were not a fan and did not like the butter sauce. So we ordered the Mac-N-Cheese, which was good. Basic Kraft Mac-N-Cheese, great for kids. 2nd Kid ordered Penne Noodles with Marinara Sauce, again came with spaghetti noodles. We didn't realize the noodles were wrong until righting this review or we would have said something to the waiter. The kids meals were a bit pricey for kids meals. The did cone with chips but still pricey. I do realize we are eating in the Villages so they are not catering to the kid families. However, it's something for the kid families to be aware of beforehand. Overall, not a bad place to lunch. Could also be a nice place to grab a drink at the bar.
